'Knowledge in Practice' Conference |
Alien CSI participants took part in the 23rd International Scientific Conference KNOWLEDGE IN PRACTICE, held on 12–15 December 2019, in Bansko Town, Bulgaria. The conference was organised by the Institute of Knowledge Management, Skopje, R. North Macedonia.
Prof. Rumen Tomov presented on the approaches to increase awareness and involvement of citizens in the science of invasive alien species in Bulgaria. He was also a co-moderator of a round-table entitled ‘Knowledge and Society’, where topics related to the public perception of knowledge and progress, as well as citizen science on the invasive alien species as an example of the contribution of society to knowledge, were presented and discussed.
The contribution was published in the Knowledge International Journal.
